aktivCARD: All Benefits at a Glance
The aktivCARD of the National Park Bavarian Forest holiday region gives you free admission to over 150 leisure facilities throughout your stay — cable cars, pools, museums, and bus & train across the Regen district.
You receive the aktivCARD automatically with every booking at Forest & Spa Retreat Zwiesel — it is not included in the rental price, but is paid conveniently together with the tourist tax during digital online check-in. It is then valid for your entire stay, individually for every registered guest.
Cable Cars
- Arber Cable Car — Gondola to the summit of the Großer Arber (1,456 m) — regular single ticket approx. €24, free with the aktivCARD.
- Arber Chairlifts & Drag Lifts — All lifts in the Arber ski resort included with the aktivCARD during winter season.
Pools
- ZEB Leisure Pool Zwiesel — Outdoor pool, indoor pool and rapids channel approx. 2 km from the apartments — regularly approx. €6–8, free with the aktivCARD.
- More pools in the Regen district — Numerous outdoor and indoor pools across the region are included with the aktivCARD.
Museums
- Waldmuseum Zwiesel — Glass art, local history and underground passages — right in town, free with the aktivCARD.
- Glass Museum Frauenau — International glass collection, approx. 12 km away — regularly approx. €6, free with the aktivCARD.
- Bodenmais Silver Mine — Guided tour through historic tunnels, approx. 10 km away — regularly approx. €10, free with the aktivCARD.
Bus & Train
With the aktivCARD you travel free of charge by bus & train throughout the entire Regen district for the duration of your stay — the National Park, Arber, Bodenmais and many other destinations are reachable without a car.
